It is a bit awkward for the week to start with people resting. Monday is the first day of the week and we all usually run to catch up on work, obligations, and tasks. I must admit that one of my bad habits is always to leave anything stressful for Tuesday if I can because I guess that there will be a stressful “Monday” madness gathered everywhere and in everyone.
Back to the theme of rest, there was a very interesting photo contest on Photocrowd with the title ‘Resting‘. There was much space to interpret the way and the place they were resting.
The crowd vote winner and expert vote winner each will get a copy of Life’s a Beach by Martin Parr. Martin Parr is a British documentary photographer, photojournalist, and photobook collector. He is known for his photographic projects that take an intimate, satirical, and anthropological look at aspects of modern life, in particular documenting the social classes of England, and more broadly the wealth of the Western world (source: Wikipedia).

That's a wonderful photo and just about sums up the word rest. It is so very tranquil and it's perfect for the competition you mentioned. Thank you for your lovely comment about my photos. Notting Hill is a special area and I hope that you manage to go there some time!
