Decorating with a hint of blush pink can bring a sweet softness and a romantic elegance to our living especially if it is combined with an earthy beige-based palette. It’s true that when hearing pink color, our mind goes to pop shades of girly toys and accessories. But, this is obviously a stereotype. Pink like all colors has many different shades from light hues to dark ones, or from pale hues to hot and vivid. So, it’s all about gradation and portions.
Decorating with a hint of blush
In this inspirational living room layout, I decided to balance a trichromatic palette. There is one dark shade of the black metal element on the legs of the furniture (sofa, floor lamp, and coffee table). There is a beige color that domains in the fabric of the sofa and the lampshade. And, a hint of blush pink color that splits into several small decorative elements like the framed wall art and the planter. Also, this lovely subtle shade could be ideal as a secondary color on pillows, rugs, or sheer curtains.
