DIY Shabby chic fabric heart

When I started, I couldn’t decide on the color of the fabrics. I had a few red and some pastel fabrics. Red is a common choice for this project. So, pastel shades won this time.

  • soft wire, decorative or garden,
  • wire cutter,
  • fabric scraps, tulle, ribbons, etc.
  • scissors

  • Make a heart shape with the wire and decide how much you want.
  • Cut a wire piece to the desired length and make a heart. Add more wire inside; tie it from one side to the other to fill the gap.
  • Cut your fabrics in small stripes. Old clothes, t-shirts, and other materials, like ribbons, tulle, twine, lace, cords, etc. There are so many low-cost options.
  • Tie the stripes on the wire, one after the other, in superficial knots or lovely bows until all the wire is covered. You can make a pattern by stably repeating colors and fabrics. And, you can tie one stripe with the other inside the heart to give a more consistent result.
  • Ultimately, you can add small decorative items to your heart, like bows, tiny hearts, and beads, to make it more beautiful. And, a small hanger with ribbon or twine on its top to put it on your wall.

Doodle heart

I love doodles. It may look like a simple design, but in reality, one can create complex masterpieces. And, you will need only three things: a pen, white paper, and a frame. You can start with a simple drawing of a heart. Then, you can fill it with any shape or line that comes to your head or hand. I’ve always made doodles, from early childhood until now, but I never thought that they seemed so great when framed.

Heart map wall art

This is a quick and easy DIY project to add a map in the shape of a heart to your wall gallery in a lovely and creative way. The materials are few and so easy to find. I used things that I found in my sister’s house, which has no connection with the DIY world. So, these are the things I used:

  • frame
  • map
  • scissors
  • glue
  • white cardboard

Tip: You can use a map that has your favorite place or a place significant for you and your spouse.

Steps

  • Cut the map in an adorable shape.
  • Glue your pieces on thick cardboard, white or black.
  • You can also make a mat for your frame by cutting the cardboard with a crafting knife in the desired shape.
  • Put your composition in the frame and it’s ready to enrich your wall art gallery.

Heart Rock Pebble Art In A Shadow Box

Most of us had found on the beach pebbles that looked like something. I think the heart is the most familiar shape. And, this huge beige heart-shaped stone was discovered by my husband and my son on a beautiful beach. And, due to its size, it was the first I saw when I started to organize my materials for the autumn. I like it, although it has this clumsy appearance… Maybe because it is a BIG heart!
