14 Signs You Are Not Walking In Your Path

As Jim Morrison said, “The most important kind of freedom is to be what you really are.” I guess it’s not easy for everyone to choose the right path. Some people are born knowing exactly what they want to be in their life. And, other that seem struggling in a continuous wander and they try to find their direction in different paths. I don’t know which one of these recipes is the most succussful. But, I know that there are some signs which ring the bell that the path you walk doesn’t lead you to your dream. Here, some important signs that you should not neglect.

  1. NOTHING INTERESTS YOU

  2. YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT COULD PASSIONATE YOU

  3. YOU FEEL LIKE STUCK IN THE RAT WHEEL

  4. YOU DON’T TRUST YOUR DECISIONS AND YOUR INNER VOICE

  5. YOU ALWAYS FEEL UNSATISFIED WHATEVER HAPPENS

  6. YOU HIDE YOUR EMOTIONS

  7. YOU SAY WHITE LIES

  8. YOU DON’T EXPRESS YOUR OPINIONS OPENLY

  9. YOU NEED THE VALIDATION OF OTHERS

  10. YOU LET OTHERS INTERFERE IN YOUR DECISIONS

  11. YOU PREFER TO LIVE OTHER’S LIFE THAN YOURS

  12. YOU ARE ALWAYS JUDGEMENTAL

  13. YOU FEEL ANGRY

  14. THE PATH IS TOTALLY CLEAR TO YOU

As Joseph Campbell wrote: “If the path above you is clear, you’re probably on someone else’s.” Every path is unique and is created day by day by every choice we make. It’s like making the map for a new land rather than buying a bus ticket for the next station.

  1. I love this. I need this kind of advice at this stage of my life. I’m busy applying for my first job after Uni and it’s incredibly hard to not get swayed by the paths of my friends and family. Thank you for posting this!
