DIY Easy Winter Decor With Vases

Happy New Year everyone! I hope you are all well and had a great time during Christmas holidays with your beloved ones. I really wish and hope 2016 to bring peace, love, and prosperity in every corner of our planet – especially to the people that are suffering more nowadays due to war, or other crisis.

After a really hot December and a weather that didn’t want to be tuned with the winter mood, we finally felt some chill the first day of the year and two days later the snow came covering with white the beautiful land of Prespes. So, my first blog post for 2016 is inspired by the snow.

Searching for winter decoration ideas, I found this beautiful centerpiece for the table in the Pinterest and immediately caught my eye. It seems that decorative white sand is not only to fill summer vases with seashells and starfish, but it can fit well with our winter home decoration. Easy and cheap we can fill simple glass vases with decorative white sand and add bare branches, or twigs. Another great idea is to use dried cotton stems, which match perfectly with a snowy decorating theme and can decorate every corner of our house from the dining table to our fireplace, or console.
