Mere color, unspoiled by meaning, and unallied with definite form, can speak to the soul in a thousand different ways“. Oscar Wilde

The sea in Toroni has this blue – turquoise color and these crystal waters that can please anyone. It is not a coincidence that its 2.5 km long curved beach is awarded with the Blue Flag many times and for 2013. The Blue Flag is a voluntary eco-label awarded to more than 3850 beaches and marinas in 48 countries all over the world.

Toroni is located in the southwest edge of Sithonia peninsula in Chalkidiki. You will find it 140 km away from Thessaloniki and 20 km from Neos Marmaras village.

Besides the many affordable choices one can have in accommodation and summer activities, Toroni as an ancient city (8 B.C.) has monuments and places of historic and archaeological interest. The castle of Lekythos and the old christian church of Saint Athanasios (5th century) are the most important of them. Near Toroni, about 3 km away, it is also the harbor of Porto Koufo, well-known for its landscape beauty and the fresh fish of its restaurants and taverns.
